Spam

This kid, wearing wrestling heard gear of course, asked me this morning,

"Mom, what is spam?"

I went in to a long winded explanation about computer spam.  He got a little exasperated and clarified,

"No Mom, what is SPAM....the food SPAM."

I was at a loss for words.  Anyone who knows me knows that doesn't happen very often.  I've never had spam. He thinks it's spiced ham and from I read it looks like spiced ham. Is it really spiced ham?
