Saturday's Treasure Trove

I haven't gone out on Saturday mornings to garage sales in ages.  Usually we have multiple conflicts with parties and baseball.  Today the sun, moon and stars aligned and I was able to go to one of my favorite neighborhood's for my garage sale fix.

Houses in this neighborhood have given me lots of inspiration for my own home...

Now for today's finds....

I found my summer bag!!!!!  Goyard (pretty sure it's real but not 100%)...wait for it, wait for it.....$3.  At that price I don't care!  I'll enjoy it for every penny I spent.

Silpada discontinued bracelet (it was so tarnished but I recognized it immediately) $2

J. Crew long necklace $1

Huge hurricanes (is that the word?) $1 each - I love these!

Milling Road from Baker chest - I loved this the minute I walked up the driveway.  It was and wasn't a bargain. It was a bargain given that's it heavy and Baker and considering the price they sell for retail.  It wasn't a bargain for a garage sale.  $350.  I think my Home Goods mirror is moving somewhere else.  I think I need something tall and gold.  Ideas?????

My trusty assistant....keeping watching while we waited for my husband to get home and check the measurements.   He learned a lot about garage sales today. I think I might have worn him out.

Close up....makes me happy :)

Twin headboards for Sweet Pea's Lilly room.  Painted white.... or pink ... or even green!  For $5 each they had to come home with me!

Last but not least Ralph Lauren Tortoise and sterling huggie earrings.

Thanks for checking in with me today. I hope you are having a great weekend!  We are off to the pool.

Fantastic finds! I haven't been to a garage sale in a long time, but I will have to start reading the ads for the better addresses! You really really really got some good deals. I love a good deal too! I had gone to some estate auctions and found great things too. Do you visit auctions as well? Have fun at the pool!

Those are some great finds! I am actually headed to drop off some items for consignment and then to do a little thrifting this afternoon...this was great inspiration!

Sigh. Garage sales in the South just cannot compare to the Yanks. We get fun things like old toilet seats and faded Carter's onesies, with an occasional Fry Daddy from the '80s throw in. I'm not even kidding. Awesome finds. So envious! Enjoy.

Wow! You did really well. I should have gotten out there too, given it was the first Saturday in ages without a sports commitment - next weekend, for sure. Thanks for the encouragement.
